Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You is Ethel Cain’s sophomore concept album, and serves as the follow-up to her debut 2023 album, Preacher’s Daughter. This prequel details the events before the debut album, and it is mainly centered around Willoughby Tucker, a fictional character who is Ethel Cain’s past lover who is talked about in her past song, “A House In Nebraska”. The album was released on August 29, 2025 via her own independent record label, Daughters of Cain Records.
On 24 March, 2025, Ethel Cain announced the album’s title. Later on 28 May, 2025, she announced the Willoughby Tucker Forever tour, as well as the release date of the album’s lead single, “Nettles” which released on 6 June, 2025.
