ORACLE was a project initiated in 2006 between SUNN O))) and the artist Banks Violette. The tracks included on this LP constitute the studio experiments SUNN O))) produced preparing for a live, conceptual performance in London at Violette’s solo exhibition in Maureen Paley gallery June 2006. Attila Csihar, Joe Preston, Atsuo/Boris, Greg and Stephen appear on the LP. For this 2025 edition, Violette has created a new piece of artwork for a 24”x36” poster included in the album, which has been redesigned and packaged in a heavyweight gatefold sleeve, with printed innersleeve and metallic silver obi strip. Rashad Becker created a new master and cut for this edition.
Limited to 2000 copies on metallic silver vinyl.
